Do you have to be PCI compliant to use Shoppable's Universal Checkout API?
No, Shoppable will handle PCI Compliance on your behalf.
If you are not PCI Compliant and do not want to go through that process, that is okay. You can use Shoppable's PCI-Compliant, Headless Checkout API, which does not require you to be PCI Compliant since you will not be handling billing details. Even though it's a Checkout API, Shoppable's technology will control the credit card section so those details never touch your server. For more details, please ask your Shoppable sales rep or customer success manager.
Note: Not all account levels include the option of using Shoppable's Checkout API.
